The product is fine powder, which is not instant processed. To reduce caking during mixing with water, Please pour water first, then add milk powder. You may use some tools, like Blender,whisker, or simply let it settle for a couple of hours. the lump will be gone.
The powder should be stored under cool, dry conditions and should be protected from contact with water during storage.
